New Recording at Domaine Forget

After having realized a studio demo in 2015 of my project for string quartet and pianist Marc Copland, I had the pleasure to record the final version of this music in the concert hall of Domaine Forget in Charlevoix. What a pleasure to hear the rich sound of the Saguenay Quartet resonate in this hall with its exceptional acoustics. The Steinway piano in the hall also inspired Marc Copland! My accomplice on my Lungta CD, sound engineer Paul Johnston, captured all of this music. The warm welcome of the people of the estate and the beauty of the St. Lawrence River in Ste-Irénée made this recording session memorable.
