New Winnipeg Jazz Orchestra piece premiere

The commissioned piece by David Braid and me (working title Alliance) was premiered by the Winnipeg Jazz Orchestra (WJO) in Winnipeg. I’m pleased with the piece that brings the jazz orchestra in a non-traditional big band direction with classical music elements. It was a pleasure to conduct the WJO with David on piano, Karly Epp on voice, and Stefan Bauer on vibraphone. Alliance will be recorded for an album project.
